Where we are and a bit about Cornwall

West Cornwall with its beaches, moorlands, harbours, coves, peaceful countryside and charming towns and villages provide a holiday destination that is among the finest in Europe. Our magnificent peninsula is enclosed within 36 miles of coastline which runs from St. Ives in the North round the towering granite cliffs of to Penzance in the South to create an island atmosphere without the isolation.

There is a unique spirit about West Cornwall that is almost tangible. Walk on magnificent golden beaches and feel the surging power of the mighty Atlantic, or explore the remote and rugged Penwith moors to absorb the enchanting mystery of the ancient Celtic stones.

This is a land that does more than just entertain you with its scenery, it is a land that brings you closer to the elements, thrills your senses and stirs your deepest emotions. One such place is the Minack Theatre perched high on a cliff top overlooking the sea. Nestling in the granite landscape which remains unchanged from prehistoric times, are small communities.

West Cornwall has always inspired those seeking renewal, contemplation and a sense of the absolute. St Michael's ley-line, probably the most famous of the mysterious energy sources that criss-cross the Earth, starts near Lands End and passes close to before running across Southern England.
